Trade & logistics / Indonesia01The commercial focus
QSI’s resource business grew from Indonesian forestry into coal mining development in 1996, then into supply agreements with utilities and steelmakers across Asia.
Our commercial approach starts with the buyer’s specification, destination and timing. Contract terms define what is supplied and who owns each commitment; cargoes are independently surveyed before departure.

02How we work
Every commitment has a contract, a specification and a named owner.
Cargoes are independently surveyed before they leave port.
Projects advance with local agreement, not around it.
When something slips, we tell partners first and fix it.
Our Indonesian coal and Brazilian iron ore and gold development interests are presented separately from the trading business.
